My health and wellness journey began over a decade ago to heal myself: body, mind and spirit. I enlisted the care of traditional providers, sought out alternative therapies, and invested in supportive health coaches to keep me on-track. Energy, balance, and a sense of well-being was brought back into my life slowly, and it was the basic physical restoration and mental clarity that came along with it that simultaneously transformed my heart. My career trajectory shifted towards providing a service that made a significant impact in my care.
Certified through the Institute for Integrative Nutrition© as a Holistic Health Coach, I specialize in providing planning, accountability, and support for clients who need help instituting nutrition and lifestyle changes into their daily lives. Often recommendations from treatment providers and ancillary support networks can be overwhelming, especially when the physical body is already depleted or in recovery. Co-creating an action plan with clients, realistic goals are set to empower them and move the healing process forward. Sessions can be therapeutic in nature as both the challenges and champions to progress stemming from different areas of life are considered.
At STANDwellness, I offer individual coaching as single sessions and as six and twelve week programs. Six and twelve week programs allow us to go further into the behavioral change process and will typically yield more tangible results. The development of new habits takes time and patience. Follow-up support to sessions can increase motivation and are provided by virtual check-ins to gauge progress, make adjustments, and monitor symptoms, and clients often appreciate the easy-to-reach aspect of my service model depending on their needs.
Exercise, career, relationships, and spirituality are equally as important to your health and well-being as the food you eat, the supplements you take, and the treatments you receive. As a health coach, I take a holistic approach to supporting the whole person. We’re not meant to do life alone. We have families, friends, careers, and communities we are apart of, and they all serve different parts of our emotional, physical, mental, and spiritual well-being. As a supportive mentor and wellness guide, I will work alongside you to help institute real and lasting food and lifestyle changes.
